Many moons ago, when I heard the word meditation, I started to freak out. I was thinking, how in the world am I going to sit and think about nothing? Well, the first thing about that is that I had a total misconception about what meditation actually is because I can tell you what it is not, it is not sitting and not thinking about anything.

How I became a “high-maintenance hippie!” I hope to help others feel better, happier, calmer, and more balanced, and bring all that into the world to make it a kinder, nicer, and happier place to live.

I hope that you all will welcome this new division of The Original HMF and be as excited about it as I am excited to share it. This new division will give me the opportunity to connect with more of you in a more meaningful, authentic, and personal way, and I cannot wait!

Instead of rushing into something like I used to do, I waited until the time felt right, till it felt less scary to show who I am and in a sense not who I’ve become but I’ve come back to who I really am. But at the end of the day if I can help others feel better and live their lives fully, peacefully, and joyfully, then I can change my mindset around being nervous to “show myself,” and I can get excited to share all that I am and maybe help you to feel this way too!

On November 3rd, 2021 I had the privilege of hosting the Beautiful Brows class with Dana of Anastasia of Beverly Hills at Nordstrom at The Gardens Mall where participants learned all about creating beautiful brows, and now you can too when you watch my class recap!

I absolutely love a bath! I make it into a whole experience! I try weekly to draw a warm bath, light a candle, have a nice glass of wine, add a face mask and a Netflix show or podcast and I emerge a brand-new person!
