Reiki

What is Reiki?

There are various types of healing energy; however, Reiki is a special kind of healing energy that can only be channeled by someone who has received the Placement or attunement.

Reiki is traditionally thought of as a  hands-on practice, or the hands can hover above the body working in the auric field where each layer is associated with the physical body and emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of consciousness. Level II Reiki practitioners and masters can perform distance healing, meaning they can perform a healing without being physically present. Second Degree healing works primarily on the mental and emotional levels, while the first degree heals the physical body. Distance healing happens on the mental body level and the conscious mind. Thus, healing energy can travel through time and space and can be performed in person or virtually. Reiki can also be infused and used on anything, food, plants, products, etc.

Benefits Include:

  • Balance energy

  • Stress reduction

  • Relaxation

  • Energizing

  • Relieve pain

  • Speed healing process

  • Balances the Chakras

  • Lower blood pressure

It’s important to note that Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical treatment, and you should always consult your doctor to treat any problems you may have. Reiki is a great additional treatment to treat the whole body and complements any medical treatment you may have after consulting and receiving the go-ahead from your medical doctor.

What is it like to work with me?

I personally do not perform traditional Reiki treatments; instead, I infuse Reiki healing energy within meditation and sound healing sessions.

This is a totally voluntary part of a session, and Reiki can be used or not, depending on the client’s level of comfort and understanding of this type of healing work.
