I tried the static pop on nails twice before writing my review. I feel like I can never get it right the first go-around so I must use the product twice before I can truly decide if I love it or not! There are definitely some exciting pros to this product.
The first time I tried these nails was pretty much a total disaster! Between trying to squeeze the nail from the tube and properly place the nail, I made a total mess. Don’t make the mistake I made! The brush on glue that is available separately from the kits is a must-have and was a game-changer for sure! This small tweak took this product from a dud to a stud. Suddenly I could control the glue amount and placement and successfully place the nail without getting excess glue all over my fingers.
This small change made me fall in love with this product and made it a do-over purchase for sure!
Pros:
-Easy 1 step application (glue and go)
-No chipping
-If one pops off just replace it with a new one
-They come off easily
-You can wear them for 1 day or for up to 18 days
-Tons of color, size, and shape options
Cons:
-Easy to get water in- between real and pop on nail which lead to green spots (yuck)
- No super short options so if you like short nails like I do, you must cut and file them down a lot
-If one pops off, keeping track of the missing nail can be tricky!
Tips:
-Buy the extra glue that comes with the brush-on option. It makes application exponentially easier.
-Buy Stiletto style if you like short -square-shaped nails with round edges like I do. They cut down to a great size and shape.
-Carry glue in your purse for on-the-go touch-ups.
Funny Story about my first experience wearing the Static Pop On nails. I lost a nail and had no idea what happened to it, but no problem I just grabbed one of the extras and replaced it. Fast forward about a month and I’m looking for something in the fridge and what do I find… the missing nail! (Shakes head and laughs) I’m just glad it was me who found it!
In conclusion, the Static Pop On Nail system is an amazing option. It’s the quickest and easiest of the at home nail systems I tried. They are perfect for last minute nails when you have a photoshoot or event, but they also work well for daily wear!
